Why The Faithful Way Exists

I am Jenn. I homeschool my four boys, keep Sabbath, meet in a home church, and try to walk faithfully with the God of Scripture. My husband Eric walks this road with me. He handles the technical side of things and contributes to the theological work, but this site is my heart.

I did not start here.

For most of my life, I lived in the mainstream church. I sang the songs, went to the studies, did what Christians do. And I loved God through all of it. But somewhere along the way, the studies started to feel shallow. The answers started to feel rehearsed. I kept hearing the same conclusions, but I was not hearing what Scripture actually said.

So I started digging.

I started reading the Bible in its own language, not just in English translation. I started paying attention to the Hebrew roots of my faith, not as a label or a movement, but as the natural soil that Scripture grows from. I started asking hard questions about things I had been taught my whole life, and I found that Scripture had answers I had never been shown.

This was not a clean, easy process. It was messy. It cost me things. Friendships. Church community. The comfort of fitting in. But it gave me something I could not find at the bookstore: the actual Word of God, studied deeply, lived honestly.

What I Believe

In practice, not as a statement of faith.

I believe Scripture speaks in its own language and grammar, and we should let it before we explain it.

I believe God is faithful to us, and He calls us to be faithful to Him. That is the whole picture. That is The Faithful Way.

I believe the Sabbath is a gift, not a burden. I believe God’s feasts matter. I believe Yeshua (who most people know as Jesus) is the Son of God, the promised One, the faithful King. I believe His death conquered death, and that forgiveness has always been free.

I do not carry a movement label. I am not here to tell you what camp to join. I am here to point you to Scripture and walk with you through it.

What This Site Is

The Faithful Way is a place to go deeper.

I write articles that take a theme in Scripture and trace it from the Hebrew to the Greek to the life God calls us to live. Each article is paired with an 8-week Bible study that goes deeper day by day, rooted in the text, honest about the hard parts.

I also design merch. Vintage, botanical, quiet. A way to carry the message with you without shouting it.

That is the plan. Articles first. Studies to go deeper. Merch to wear it. And eventually, more.

Why I Am Not Trying to Be a Movement

There are a lot of labels out there. Hebrew Roots. Torah observant. Messianic. Each one carries baggage. Some of the baggage is earned. Some of it is just the weight of a label that people use to sort you into a box before they hear what you actually have to say.

I am not interested in the box.

I am interested in the Word. I am interested in walking faithfully. I am interested in the deep roots of the faith without the cultural noise that often comes with them.

If you are looking for a movement to join, this is probably not it. If you are looking for Scripture, studied honestly, with someone who is still learning and still asking questions, welcome.
